Many new college students are heading away from home for the first time (for an extended period), awaiting the newly found freedoms that come with college life. Others are a bit more tentative, maybe worried about being away from mom and dad without the comforts of home. Any yet others fall somewhere in between these two categories, riding a wave of mixed emotions. And for every kid heading off of college, whether excited or worried, there are parents who are equally feeling the same way.
